Work at the from you to me HQ seems to have taken a lower priority during the last few days whilst the Olympics have taken front stage ...

What an inspiration they have been to us and we hope they have to you and the next generation too.

Inspiration comes from many directions and we thought we would share just some of the comments and quotes that have raised their heads over the last week.

Hopefully these will make you think about your own life and whilst we may not all have the talent to become Olympians ourselves - what we can do is take Olympic steps to make sure our own lives are what we want them to be.

Please share any other inspirational quotes with us here along with any stories or memories you have of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

"Never underestimate the power of dreams and the influence of the human spirit. We are all the same in this notion: The potential for greatness lives within each of us"

Wilma Rudolph, Gold Medalist in Athletics in 1960

"You have to believe in yourself when no one else does - that makes you a winner right there."

Venus Williams, Gold Medalist in Tennis in 2000, 2008 and 2012

"He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life."

Muhammad Ali, Gold Medalist in Boxing in 1960

"I wouldn't say anything is impossible. I think that everything is possible as long as you put your mind to it and put the work and time into it."

Michael Phelps, Gold Medalist in Swimming in 2004, 2008 and 2012
The most decorated Olympian in History.

"Belief doesn't spring from nowhere. It arrives because you work like a dog for years and years and years. Self-belief is probably the most crucial factor in sporting success. The bodies are roughly equal, the training is similar, the techniques can be copied, what separates the achievers is nothing as tangible as split time or kilograms. It is the iron in the mind, not the supplements, that wins medals."

Sir Steve Redgrave, 5 times Gold Medalist in Rowing
His determination, competitiveness, focus and ability to stay at the top of his sport for 20 years remains unsurpassed.

As we said, we would love to hear any other Olympic quotes that have inspired you so do send them to us along with any stories or memories you have of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Life matters ... pass it on.
