I can honestly say that every moment spent with them is so precious, I will treasure every second as it took a heart wrenching ten years to get them. I have twins - a boy called Sam and a girl called Ruth. After various fertility treatments we finally had our dream come true with the help of IVF. So I would love to use the journals to let them know how much I treasure them and longed for them for so many years. . .
I would like to win a copy of the "Dear Daughter" from you to me journals. My child, Grace, is only 5 years old but I would say the most precious time I have had with her so far was when we went to a fun fair in Portsmouth. Grace and I got absolutely soaked which made us laugh till we ran out of breath. It would mean a lot to me to win this Journal as Grace is still young and would be able to fill it in when she learns to write properly. . .
One of the best moments ever, has to be when I was pregnant with my second daughter, my eldest was then 2 years old and quizzing me about the bump and baby. We were cuddled up and as she stroked my bump, I answered her questions about 'how big is the baby?', 'can she see me?' and so on . . . then Georgia declared that she was going to 'love the baby forever'. I got all emotional! And it is so true - my girls are now 4 and 1 and absolutely adore each other! She also named the baby 'Fluffy' for about 6 months - luckily she accepted that Mummy and Daddy chose to call her Violet!!! . . .
A conversation I had with my 7 year old son, Brodie, just the other day will stay with me forever . . . He was disputing the fact that the tooth fairy collects teeth. He insisted that she doesn't exist as he's seen something on the TV - "and it wasn't a cartoon mummy!" I then asked him, "What about Father Christmas then?" He looked at me with disgust and said, "No Mummy, he doesn't collect them!"
